1 beef roast*
1 t garlic powder*
1 t Montreal Steak Spice
1 small rutabega*, chopped into 1″ x 1″ pieces
4 carrots*, chopped into 1″ x 1″ pieces
1 small onion*, chopped
100ml red wine (or water)


– Spice beef with garlic and steak spice
– Sear outside of beef for 1 minute / side
– Put beef in slow cooker and add wine or water
– Surround with vegetables
– cook for 8-10 hours on low.
